Hello,everyone!Now I want to talk about a beatiful world!
When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country.There were many flowers and trees around our city.We counld hear the birds singing and see the children dancing.The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come
true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment.Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.
Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighbourhood.
Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helped protect our environment.
It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy.You might ask yourself,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes",it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment.There were few people on the earth,and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.Today things are different.The world has become too crowded.We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals.If we continue to do this,human life on earth will not survive.We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea,there will soon be none left.Yet,with modern fishing methods,more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down,forests will disappear.
Yet,we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees.We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products,we will die.Yet,waste products are still put into rivers.We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate,in a few years,there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?If we eat more vegetables and less meat,there will be more food available.Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recyciethem.
The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.Finally,if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.
The earth's environment is becoming worse now,but many people still don't take him seriously.Garbage all over the sky flying,floating to the branches,stream,everywhere,polluted the river,used to playing in the river fish shrimp all disappear without a trace,once singing in the branches of the bird is gone.People cut down trees,China's current annual production and discarding the forty-five billion pairs of disposable chopsticks,the equivalent of twenty-five million adult trees were cut down! On one occasion,I would not be eco-friendly.That night,I want to finish with the homework be thrown away,mother saw it,said to me:"these paper recycling can also reuse,waste,what a pity,the back of the paper can also be used,you can use it to make toilet paper it." I looked down and realized his mistake,from now on,I haven't wasted.
The earth is our great mother,though she is four billion five hundred million years old,but young and aging of the earth is not measured by age,as the earth's children,we should make our own mother forever young! The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. For example , forest destruction results in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather. In addition, man is faced with problems of water pollution and air pollution.
A lot of measures have been taken. Planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment. Besides, laws concerning environmental protection have been put into effect and achieved good results.
However, the problem of environmental protection remains far from being solved. On the one hand, the environment pollution and destruction are getting worse and worse in the modern world. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. In a word, there is a long way to go before we enjoy a clean and comfortable world.
